Registration-Type Descriptions
Member: To qualify for the member rate, you must be a member in good standing of SBHCI, SBC, SOLACI, DIC through TCT Plus LATAM Valves with all dues fully paid through the conference (March 2026)
Physician: Post-fellowship, or post-residency and not currently enrolled in a fellowship program at the time of the conference — excluding employees of companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, venture capital, management consulting, or financial industries.
Allied Health Professional: Nurses, technologists, physician assistants, researchers, pharmacists, hospital administrators, biostatisticians, and other non-physicians professionally engaged in interventional cardiovascular medicine — excluding employees of companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, venture capital, management consulting, or financial industries.
Fellow: Enrolled in a fellowship training program at the time of the Conference
Medical Student: Enrolled in a medical school program at the time of the Conference, studying to become a physician or other clinical medical professional.
Resident: Enrolled in a residency training program at the time of the Conference, pursuing advanced clinical training to become a board-certified physician or other clinical specialist.
Industry Professional: Employees of companies in the medical device, pharmaceutical, venture capital, biotechnology, management consulting, financial, or other industries — including such employees who are MD, DO, PhD, RN, PA, PharmD, or any other type of healthcare professional whose primary professional activity is as an employee of such company.
Exhibitor: Industry professionals registered as part of an exhibiting company, attending the Conference to represent their organization, manage their booth, and engage with attendees in the exhibit hall.
Terms and Conditions
TCT® PLUS LATAM VALVES 2026 TERMS & CONDITIONS
Registration for and access to TCT® Plus LATAM Valves: The Structural Heart Sumit 2026 (the “Conference”) is subject to these terms and conditions.
The organizer of the conference will strictly enforce these terms and conditions of registration.
- Registration Fees
All registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Any unpaid registrations may result in the loss of your spot at the conference or the higher registration rate.
Prices are listed on the official conference registration page and are subject to change without notice prior to your registration being confirmed.
Special discounts, if any, must be claimed during the registration process and cannot be applied retroactively.
- Information and Registration Type Verification
By submitting your conference registration, you certify that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete. You further certify that you meet the eligibility requirements for the specific registration type selected (e.g., fellow, physician, industry, etc.), as defined on the conference website.
All registration information is subject to verification by SBHCI. SBHCI may contact you directly if additional documentation or clarification is required to confirm your eligibility or registration category.
SBHCI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
- Cancel or revoke any registration or badge without refund if the registrant is found to have provided false, inaccurate, or misleading information, or does not meet the eligibility requirements for the selected registration type.
- Reassign the registrant to the appropriate category if the information provided does not qualify for the chosen registration type, and to issue an invoice for any resulting balance due.
- Deny participation in, or attendance at, the Conference, as well as future SBHCI, CRF, or SOLACI–sponsored or–managed conferences or events, for violation of this policy.
Incorrect, inaccurate, or misleading registrations are not eligible for refunds.
- Cancellation Policy
Cooling‐Off Period (Legal Right – Brazilian Consumer Code Art. 49)
- Period The participant may request the cancellation of their registration and a full refund of the amount paid within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of successful payment of the registration fee.
- Condition: The refund will be issued in full, without the deduction of any administrative fees or penalties.
- Request: The cancellation request must be formalized within the established period via email to marianna@atualeventos.com, with a copy to eventos@sbhci.org.br.
- Cancellation After the Cooling‐Off Period: After the 7 (seven) calendar day period from the date of successful payment of the registration fee, and until the event start date, the following cancellation and refund conditions will apply:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to marianna@atualeventos.com, with a copy to eventos@sbhci.org.br.
- 80% Refund: If we receive your cancellation in writing before Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (by 11:59 PM BRT, UTC -3), you will receive an 80% refund minus a processing/administrative fee (R$100).
- 50% Refund: If we receive your cancellation in writing between Friday, January 14, 2026 (12:00 AM BRT, UTC -3) and Wednesday, February 11, 2026 (by 11:59 PM BRT, UTC -3), you will be refunded 50% of the registration fee minus a processing/administrative fee (R$100), or as determined by the conference organizers.
- No Refund: No refunds will be processed after Thursday, February 12, 2026 (12:00 AM EDT, BRT, UTC -3).
- Non-attendance: Failure to attend the conference without prior cancellation in accordance with the cancellation policy result in no refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 45 business days from the date of request approval and will be issued using the same method of payment used for the registration, whenever possible.
Fellows, Residents, Medical Students and SBHCI Member Nurse Registration Refund Policy
- Refundable Registration: Registration for fellows, residents, medical students, and Sbhci member nurses is fully refundable with the exception of the CT Planning Course and the Spread Mitral-TEER Course.
- Credit Card Charge: A credit card is required at the time of registration, and a fee as outlined in the registration rates will be charged to your card.
- Refund Policy: The full amount will be refunded to the same credit card used for registration if you cancel in writing by Tuesday, March 3, 2026 (11:59 PM BRT, UTC −3) or if you attend TCT Plus LATAM Valves 2026.
o The CT Planning Course and the Spread Mitral-TEER Course fee is non-refundable. This will be deducted from any eligible refund.
o Refunds apply only to the registration fee paid through the official registration system.
o Other payments, bank fees, or credit card charges cannot be refunded.
o Refunds will be returned to the same credit card or payment method used for registration and cannot be sent to another person or using a different method.
o Please allow 45 business days after the event or cancellation confirmation for the refund to show on your card statement.
- Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration by Tuesday, March 3, 2026 (11:59 PM BRT, UTC −3) to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date.
Reminder to Cancel Travel: In case of cancellation of attendance (by you or by the organizer), please be sure to cancel any associated travel arrangements (e.g., lodging/housing, airfare, or other travel arrangements, etc.). As more fully set forth below, CRF®, SOLACI or SBHCI are neither liable nor responsible for any such associated travel costs.
- Substitutions/Transfer
If you are unable to attend, a substitution may be made at no extra charge for individuals of the same registration category (example: only a member physician may be replaced with a member physician).
All substitutions must be communicated in writing by March 4, 2026 by 11:59 PM BRT (UTC -3) by emailing marianna@atualeventos.com, with a copy to eventos@sbhci.org.br and providing the full details of the new participant and the express authorization of the original participant.
No substitutions will be accepted after by March 4, 2026 by 11:59 PM BRT (UTC -3).
The substituted attendee must meet the same eligibility criteria and will be subject to the same terms and conditions as the original registrant.
- Incorrect/Duplicate Registrations
SBHCI cannot be held responsible for incorrect and/or duplicate registrations. In such cases, the cancellation policy applies.
- Loss of Badge Credentials
The organizers reserve the rights to revoke or deny attendance of any registered participant, faculty/speaker, exhibitor, or media at the conference.
- Badge Changes and/or Reprints
The fee for on-site badge changes or reprints is R$100 per change/reprint. Name changes are subject to the Substitution policy above.
- Prohibition on Badge Swapping, Sharing, Duplicating or Lending
Each person attending the conference will be issued a conference-specific badge bearing that person’s name. You must have the badge bearing your own name and photo in your possession at all times while on the premises at which the conference is taking place. THE SWAPPING, SHARING, DUPLICATING OR LENDING OF A CONFERENCE BADGE TO ANY OTHER PERSON IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Anyone found to be wearing a badge that does not bear that person’s name and photo will have the badge immediately confiscated and will be escorted from the premises. Additionally, the attendance privileges of the person whose name and photo appears on the confiscated badge will be revoked and that person will also be escorted from the premises. No replacement badges will be provided, and no refunds will be made, in whole or in part, for violating this policy.
Violators of this policy (the person to whom the badge was issued, the person found to be in possession of the badge, and where appropriate, the company that purchased the badge) may also be banned from attending or participating at any future CRF®, SOLACI or SBHCI-sponsored/ managed conference or event. Additionally, in instances where an exhibiting/industry company is found to have violated this policy, the exhibiting/industry company will be penalized with a reduction in priority points. In cases where CRF®, SOLACI and/or SBHCI is willing to permit a person found to be in violation of this policy to once again have access to the conference, the person or the exhibiting/industry company, as applicable, will be required to re-register and will be charged the full cost of the additional registration. All decisions regarding compliance with or violation of this policy will be made by CRF®, SOLACI and/or SBHCI in the sole and exclusive discretion of CRF®, SOLACI and/or SBHCI
- Group Registration/Registering on Behalf of Someone Else
Group registration may permissible for designated conferences. If you are registering on behalf of anyone other than yourself (“prospective attendee(s)”), you represent and warrant that you are authorized to complete the registration, accept these terms and conditions on behalf of each such prospective attendee(s) that you register, and that the information you provide is accurate. You agree to be solely liable for any damages as a result of any information you provide, including opting-in to receiving communications at a prospective attendee(s)’ email address. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI and its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from all liability, damages, judgments and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) for any claims brought by or on behalf of any third party arising from your conduct, misconduct or negligence in completing the registration on a prospective attendee(s)’ behalf. You agree to provide (or have provided) a copy of these terms and conditions, Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy to the prospective attendee(s) and agree to be jointly accountable for any violation of these terms and conditions and/or Privacy Policy by any prospective attendee(s) you registered, which may result in you and/or each such prospective attendee(s) being unable to attend the conference, in whole or in part, and/or being banned from attending or participating at any future CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI sponsored/managed conferences or events.
- Exhibitor Badge Allotments
Exhibitor badge allotments are fixed and may not be upgraded, downgraded, or exchanged for credits or other value. Badges are provided solely for access for registered exhibiting company representatives. Any unused badges have no transferable value.
- Wearing Your Badge
For your safety and security, all attendees, faculty/speakers, exhibitors, staff, and suppliers are required to wear their badges to have access to any part of the conference. For safety, please remove your badge when leaving the convention center or conference site.
- Children and Guests
Due to the professional nature of the conference, the organizer does not allow anyone under 16 into the scientific presentations, Exhibit Hall, or the industry rooms at any time. Nursing infants (up to 12 months) will be allowed (a) in the industry rooms only if allowed by the Industry group managing the room; (b) only if such infants are held at all times; strollers, infant carriers and other portable infant equipment are strictly prohibited; and (c) only if a parent has signed a liability waiver. Waivers will be available at the registration desk. Badges will need to reflect that a waiver has been signed. The organizer reserves the right to deny or revoke access to any part of the conference to parents, infants and/or children found to be in violation of this policy
Attendees are not permitted to bring guests, including spouses and family, to conferences or to any pre- or post- events occurring at the conference. If you have others traveling with you, they will need to register to access, attend or participate in any of the conference. Guest badges are not available.
- Industry Sponsored/Supported Sessions and Exhibitor Booths
When your badge is scanned at exhibitor booths you are opting in to receiving communications from that entity. You will be subject to that exhibitor’s communications and privacy policy and must opt out with them directly. The organizer does not endorse, screen, or approve, and is not responsible for any exhibitor’s privacy practices or policies. Scanning of your badge at an exhibition booth is strictly voluntary.
When your badge is scanned at industry supported and/or sponsored sessions or events (e.g., satellite programs, hands on training, industry luncheons, etc.) your information is provided for administrative, logistical, and if applicable, legal reporting purposes, and you may also receive communications from the industry sponsor.
Nothing contained in the exhibits, sponsorships or industry supported programs represents the views or opinions of CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI or its affiliates. CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI do not accept liability of any kind with respect to the exhibits or any product or service referred to in the exhibits.
- Recording (Audio, Video, and Still Photography) Policy
Photography (non-flash only) and brief audio, video, or screen recording using hand-held equipment for strictly personal, educational, and/or social are permitted at TCT® LATAM Valves as determined solely by the organizers. Substantial portions of posters, slides, and presentations may not be copied or reproduced in any form for sale or commercial use. The organizers reserve the right to limit recordings on-site if deemed necessary. Industry may film, record, or photograph activities in their own meeting rooms for promotional purposes only upon prior written consent from SBHCI. Media must obtain approval and camera tag from SBHCI before filming, screen recording, or taking photographs for the purpose of original news or social media coverage. Please note that once approval to film and/or photograph is obtained, filming, videotaping, and photography are limited to agreed-upon terms.
- Post-Conference Photography Use Notice
You hereby grant SBHCI, CRF® and SOLACI an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to reproduce, copy, display, perform, or otherwise use any photos, videos, or audio recordings taken of you by SBHCI or SBHCI’s designated vendor(s) during the conference or any other conference-related activity or event for promotional use (i.e., brochures, association publications, and web-based media such as blogs, websites, e-newsletters). You hereby release and hold harmless CRF®, SBHCI, SOLACI and all associated/affiliated entities, agents or assigns, from all claims, demands, causes of action, and liability related to said use of the material. During the conference, attendees, vendors, speakers/faculty, and others may be photographed and videotaped by SBHCI or SBHCI’s designated vendor(s) capturing the conference. Some of these photographs or videos may be displayed by CRF® and SOLACI in future publications or materials connected with the conference.
- Venue Rules
By choosing to attend the conference in person, you hereby agree to abide by all rules and regulations imposed by the venue (e.g., convention center, arena, hotel, etc.) where the conference or conference-related events are being held.
- Conference Changes or Cancellation
The conference organizers reserve the right to modify, amend or revise any aspects of the conference program, including but not limited to speakers, topics, session times, and scheduling, at any time and without prior notice.
CRF, SOLACI and SBHCI reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, postpone, or reschedule the conference, in whole or in part, because of circumstances beyond their control including, but not limited to, civil disturbance; natural disasters; electrical outage; explosion; fire; freight embargo; strike or labor unrest; epidemics and/or pandemics including COVID; severe weather; other acts of God; or an act of war, terrorism, any government or any government agency or official; curtailment of transportation; or other events which make it illegal, impossible, or commercially impracticable to hold the conference. In the event of such circumstances, registrants/participants expressly agree to waive any claim you may have against CRF, SOLACI, SBHCI and their associated/affiliated entities, agents, or assigns for damages or compensation in connection with and resulting in any way from the cancellation of the conference including, but not limited to, registration fees, lodging/housing costs; travel, including airfare (both going to/or leaving the conference); and/or associated/incidental charges/expenses.
If the conference is canceled by the organizers for other unforeseen reasons, they may, at their discretion, issue a full refund of registration fees. However, CRF, SOLACI and SBHCI will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the registrant, such as travel, accommodation or other related expenditures.
- Liability
By registering for the conference, you agree that you bear total, complete, and sole responsibility for all of the costs and risks associated with attending the conference. Under no circumstances will the organizers or the organizers’ associated/affiliated entities, agents, or assigns, bear any responsibility or have any liability to you or to any institution, company, or other entity or organization with which you may be affiliated, even if the conference is cancelled, in whole or in part, and regardless of the reason, for any and all costs incurred by you or by any institution, company, or other entity or organization with which you may be affiliated in connection with attending the conference, including, but not limited to, registration fees; lodging/housing costs; travel, including airfare (both going to/or leaving the conference); and/or associated/incidental charges, including (for the avoidance of doubt), any and all costs incurred for or related to quarantine, illness, and/or medical testing or treatment. In connection with the foregoing, you hereby unconditionally release the organizers and organizers’ associated/affiliated entities, agents, or assigns, in all respects to the fullest extent permitted by law from any and all responsibility and liability and expressly waive any and all claims that you may have against the organizers and the organizers associated/affiliated entities, agents, or assigns, in connection with and resulting in any way from your attendance of the conference.
TCT® LATAM Valves, CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI are not responsible for any personal injuries, property damage, or other losses incurred by attendees during the conference.
Attendees are advised to ensure they have appropriate insurance coverage for their participation in the conference.
By registering for the conference, you hereby agree to unconditionally release, discharge, and hold harmless the Cardiovascular Research Foundation® and its associated/affiliated entities, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) in all respects to the fullest extent permitted by law from any and all responsibility and liability and expressly waive any and all claims that I may have against the Released Parties in connection with and resulting in any way from my attendance of or participation in TCT® LATAM Valves.
- Data Usage and Privacy
By registering for this conference, you acknowledge and agree to provide the Cardiovascular Research Foundation® (CRF®), SOLACI, and SBHCI with your registration data, including but not limited to your name, contact information, and professional details. CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI may use this information for purposes including conference-related communications, updates, information about other CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI initiatives, and materials that may be of interest to you. By default, you consent to CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI contacting you via email, phone, or other communication methods regarding your registration, other CRF®, SOLACI and SBHCI events, programs, and any relevant content. If you prefer not to receive future communications, you may opt out at any time by contacting marianna@atualeventos.com.
- Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
The organizer(s) may update and modify these terms and conditions, including any policies hyperlinked in these terms and conditions, at any time by posting a revised version on a conference website. The updated terms will become effective upon posting. The organizer has no obligation to directly notify you of changes to these terms and conditions. By registering for or attending a conference after the organizer has posted an updated version of these terms and conditions, you expressly agree to be bound by the updated terms. It is your responsibility to check the conference website regularly for updates to these terms and conditions.
